Taito Space Invaders Upright/Cocktail Conversion

This applies to the 3-set and 2-set editions (not the original L-set) of the colour version.
The changes are all done on the audio (top) board.

The DIP switches 5,6 and 7 should be set to OFF for both upright and cocktail configurations when using the 'CV' or 'PV' image set.

Cocktail to Upright

Insert the three jumper links next to the DIP switch block.


Cut the track leading from IC7 pin 9. Connect a wire link from IC7 pin 9 to GND.

Upright to Cocktail

The changes described above need to be undone.

Remove the three jumper links next to the DIP switch block.


Remove the wire link from IC7 pin 9 to GND. Re-connect the track leading from IC7 pin 9.
